Better late than never, right? I told you I'd write about my travels 'round the globe, and as promised, here's a glimpse. I scrapped a previous blog because it wasn't fun and there were substantial obstacles (like China and Vietnam being dirty communists), so here's some more drivel for you to read while wasting time at your desks!
The meaning of the blog-name is threefold1 : first, it's a tribute to one of my favorite philosophical books/allegories, The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff; second (and maybe most importantly), it's a poop joke; and third, I feel it kinda captures the notion that I've basically, wittingly or not, followed my stomach around the globe in almost Taoist, epicurean fashion2 (again, mostly just a poop joke). I've included some entries that I'd written for a previous, more scornfully conceived blog, so you can find those plus a bunch more here. Enjoy - or just go read Benjamin Hoff. We're basically the same author anyway.
P.S. Sorry to my mom for all the cursing and the dirty jokes. I'll try to keep them to a minimum.
P.P.S Sorry to Kassie for being gone for so long. I'll be back soon for our own adventure.
P.P.P.S Sorry for all the post-scripts and apologies. I'm done now.
1 - Thank you, Joey Tribiani.
2 - My occasional frustrated outbursts at unsuspecting Asians notwithstanding.
